Gerald Hugo”Jerry” Fuchs, Jr., age 61 of Waller, Texas, passed away on October 24, 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Helen Ruth Fuchs; and is survived by his wife Becky Fuchs; son, Joshua Fuchs; sisters Carole Peltier and husband Don, Susie Griesemer and husband Mike, Diane Hovas and husband John as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

Jerry was a blessed man to have survived cancer at the age of 19. He went on to lead a happy and productive life as a teacher, coach, golfer, fisherman, and avid supporter of the Texas Longhorns. Jerry has left a legacy of family love, loyal friendships, passion for children and educating youth and fond memories of Hill Country life in Blanco, Texas.

The family would like to thank the extended friends and staff at Methodist Hospital and Brazos Valley Hospice for their care and support during Jerry’s courageous battle of complications received from early cancer treatments.
