The Panthers began the game with a strong defensive stand and held the Bobcats on 4th down to take possession; however, the Blanco offense fumbled and Comfort took over on the 5-yard line. On 2nd down, from the 4-yard line, the Bobcats scored on a run. The extra point failed and Comfort took the lead 0-6.

In the 2nd quarter, the Panther offense moved down the field on a 10-yard pass from QB Garrett Seales to Sebastian Thomas, followed by a 15-yard run by Logan Parker. Kameron Martinez then rushed 30 yards for a touchdown. The 2-point conversion attempt failed and the score was tied at 6-6.

To begin the 2nd half, Blanco took over offense on their own 37. Martinez made runs of 9, 5, and 11 yards, and Parker carried the ball for another 4 yards. Seales then hit Thomas with an 8-yard pass on the 13-yard line. Martinez dashed the 13 yards for the score and 2-point conversion. The Panthers were up 14-6. Comfort then took the ball on their own 49 after the Blanco kick-off. Following 2 runs, Comfort scored on a pass and made the 2-point conversion to tie the score at 14-14. Blanco was unable to score on their next possession, but Comfort marched down the field and scored a touchdown with 32 seconds left in the game to leave the final score at 14-20.
