Wednesday, November 16, 2011 • Posted November 21, 2011

BHS Spanish II students celebrated Día de los muertos by creating and presenting (in Spanish) memory boxes “tumbas” in order to honor a person or to poke fun at themselves. They also enjoyed traditional beverages -horchata and atole - along with pan (bread) de los muertos and calavera (skeleton) cookies. ¡Qué divertido! PIctured are Pepe (Payton) Keutz, Sergio de la Torre, Daniela Oliver, Cristián (Kristian) Saylor, and Miguelito (Michael) O'Rear.
