Thinking about Christmas gifts? Well, we have solutions. Stop by the library and pick up Library Salsa for your friends and family! For only $7 each, you can buy your friends and family pre-wrapped tasty salsa and it supports your community library. If you want to show your caring side, come in and donate to put an angel on our tree in the name of a loved one.

Are the holidays stressing you out? Come join us every Monday at 10 a.m. for a Chair Yoga class presented by Miranda Roberts. Are you in the mood for something sweet? Join us for a History of Chocolate program on December 8 at 6 p.m. Steve Gillen of Gillen’s Candies will be hosting this program that explores the history of chocolate and will be providing free samples for everyone who comes.

Need to brush up on the basics of using the internet and setting up your e-mail? Mark your calendar to come into the library on December 5 from 4-6 p.m. for our computer class.

Do you have overdue fines? Well, we have a deal for you. All this month and until December 31 we are doing our Food for Fines program again. Bring in unexpired and undamaged boxed or canned goods to pay off your overdue fines; 1 food item = $1 off. All donations go to Good Samaritan to help families in need for the holidays.

Speaking of holidays, Thanksgiving is coming up and we are closed on November 24 and 25; no library items are due on these two days. As always, remember to check our website at www.blancolib.org for more information.
