County Commissioners temporarily lifted the burn ban during the weekend and into Tuesday, November 29, at 6pm. At press time, the burn ban had been put back into effect. On Thursday, December 1, the burn ban was once again temporarily lifted until Monday, December 5, at 9:00am.

When the ban is lifted, notify the Sheriff’s Office at 830-868-7104 when you’re burning. Keep in mind that treated lumber, non-wood construction debris, heavy oils and rubber cannot be burned.
