Christmas Night Parade Coming to Blanco, Dec. 10
Wednesday, November 30, 2011 • Posted December 1, 2011

The city of Blanco is holding its first night parade on Saturday, December 10, 2011, at 6:30pm. The parade is to line up at the Blanco High School at 5:30pm.

Please make sure you light up your entry and be festive. You can get an inverter at the auto parts store that plugs into the cigerette lighter or power point. Anyone is welcome to enter the parade.

Please come out and watch the parade as it comes downtown around the beautifully lit square, and, of course, Santa will be there. You can also enjoy the Christmas Market on the Courthouse Square.

Come on out and make a day and evening of it in downtown Blanco. If you are interested in being in the parade, please call parade Chairperson Roxanna Avants at 512-627-0584 or email roxanna avants@yahoo.com or you can go to the Blanco Chamber of Commerce for information.

For information about the Christmas Market Days, call the Old Blanco County Courthouse Preservation Society at 830-833-2211.
