It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas
Wednesday, November 30, 2011 • Posted December 1, 2011

The Blanco Courthouse Square was alive with crowds of people on Friday evening, November 25, to see the annual lighting of the Old Blanco County Courthouse, talk to Santa, visit local businesses that were open for the evening, and tour the displays in Bindseil Park. The lights in the park will stay up for the holidays, so stop by the square at night to take a stroll.

It’s also beginning to feel a lot like Christmas. Luckily, the temperature was pleasant for the lighting. Afterward, a cold front gave Blanco the first hard freeze of the season.
