The boy’s middle school basketball teams played the Junction Eagles on Monday, November 28.

The 7th grade team rallied in the 4th quarter, but couldn’t close the gap. The Eagles won 24-36. Hayden Hunt led the team with eight points, followed by Shawn Burton with four points. Jeremy Kindla, Logan Parker, Noah Wheeler, Kailen Webster, and Jonathan Campbell each scored two points, while Chase Coggins and Jacob Ruiz added one point each.

The 8th grade team lost a close one with a final score of 31-37. Trent Dechert paced the Panthers, scoring ten points. Jordan Wagner and Hugo Rodriguez scored five points each, followed by Ryan Ronces with three, and Jesse Ferrell and Conner Anderson each sank a basket for two points.

The middle school boys will face Comfort next Monday, December 5. The game will start at 5:00pm in the Blanco Middle School gym.
