Lady Panthers Fall to Mustangs
Capture Consolation in JC Tourney

On Tuesday, November 29, the varsity Lady Panthers hosted the Lutheran Lady Mustangs in a basketball clash. The Mustangs poured in the points for a 19 point lead at the half. The Panthers narrowed the gap to 9 points by the end of the third quarter. However, the Lutheran ladies picked up the pace to close out the game with a final score of 49-63.

Justine Cooley led the Panthers with 12 points, while Micaela Klein and Leslie McClinton each scored 9. Kayla Martinex sank 8 points, Payton Savarino made 4, Meaghen Seales hit a 3-pointer, and Lindsey Jenkins and Reagan Rogers made 2 points each.

In the Johnson City Tournament, the Blanco girls pounced on St. Marys Hall, 61-18, in the consolation final.

Kayla Martinez and Meaghen Seales led the Panthers, scoring 11 points each. Justine Cooley, Felicia Skillman, and Leslie McClinton added 8 points each, while Micaela Klein shot for 6, and Payton Savarino added 5. Elise Edmondson and Lindsey Jenkins each scored 2 points.
