Blanco is at a crossroads of sorts for many peoples’ journeys across our country. Located on a non-interstate highway between San Antonio and Austin, Fredericksburg and Marble Falls, the city is a perfect stop on cross-country travels.

Richard Noble–and his dog, Trinity, who joined him in San Antonio–stopped in Blanco on December 19 on the journey from San Francisco to Washington DC. A local resident offered Noble a place to stay the night, another resident bought him breakfast at Redbud Cafe on the morning of Dec. 20, and Noble took Trinity in for a checkup at Blanco Veterinary Clinic.

Noble’s mission is to raise awareness about federal sexual orientation equality legislation and bullying. He plans to set a record for distrance traveled with a Pride Flag. His journal is online at www.walk.usfreedomring.com.
