Farm Bureau Donates to Volunteer Firefighters
Wednesday, December 28, 2011 • Posted December 29, 2011

Blanco County Farm Bureau has donated $334 each to the Blanco, Johnson City and Round Mountain Volunteer Fire Departments, with $1,000 each contributed by Texas Farm Bureau (TFB), to help recover resources and funds used to keep our community safe.

“We are grateful for these firefighters’ tireless efforts to protect our homes, land, animals and families,” said Don Casey, Blanco County Farm Bureau President. “With all that they’ve done for our community, this is a worthy cause.”

The TFB state office committed to match county Farm Bureau donations on a $3 to $1 basis, up to a maximum of $1,000 per volunteer fire department, across the state.

Texas Farm Bureau, along with County Farm Bureaus across the state, has donated over one million dollars to Volunteer Fire Departments this year.
