On January 1, 2012, Darryl Evers Burris, 64, passed from this life of pain and suffering into the next eternal life. He was born in San Antonio on May 29, 1947, to Kenneth Wayne Burris and Irene Josephine Evers.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Beverly Anne Mazurek Burris; his three sons, Corey of Castroville, and Derek and Ryan, both of Blanco; one daughter, ReAnna Hay of Brackettville; a son-in-law, two daughters-in-law, two grandsons, and three granddaughters.

He was a wonderful son, husband, father, grandfather and provider. He was blessed and thankful.

There will be a memorial service at a later date.
