JV Places 2nd in Tournament - Sports - Blanco County News

The Blanco JV Tournament was held at the BHS gym on Thursday, January 5, and Saturday, January 7. The Blanco JV won second place, falling to the Ingram JV 32-51 in the finals. The Blanco freshmen boys team also participated in the tournament.

FR vs. Brooks Academy – Lost 26-30

Top scorers: Ty Royce - 14 and Dylan Tesch - 9

JV vs. St. Andrews – Won 48-46

Top scorers: Chad Marshall - 16 & Josh McCaslin - 10

FR vs. SA Lutheran – Lost 30-36

Top scorers: Dylan Bates - 12

and Hunter Goodman - 6

JV vs. Johnson City – Won 45-2

Top scorers: Colton Elrod - 8

and Will Bylar and Logan Dodd - 6 each

FR vs. SA Lutheran – Lost 23-32

Top scorers: Devlin Moore - 11 and Ty Royce - 4

FR vs. St. Andrews – Lost 16-42

Top Scorers: Ty Royce - 7 and Diego Alegria - 4

JV vs. Ingram (championship game) – Lost 32-51

Top Scorers: Logan Dodd and Carlin Green - 7 each
