Ribbon Cut at New Accounting Firm in Blanco

The Blanco Chamber of Commerce welcomed a new business member and held a ribbon cutting ceremony for Hanks, Wallace & Associates, LLP, located at 700 4th St., on Friday, January 13. Immediately following the ribbon cutting, everyone stuck around for wonderful refreshments and met the members of this fine professional team that has joined the business community here in Blanco County.

Hank, Wallace & Associates, LLP is a full-service accounting firm serving clients throughout the State of Texas. They are dedicated to providing each of their clients with professional, personalized service and guidance in a wide range of financial and business needs. Both Elaine Hanks, managing partner, and her partner Kayla Wallace have been performing audits and providing tax and accounting assistance for all types of non-public entities for more than a combined 38 years. With a specialty focus of services specific to non-profit, governmental, and electric utility cooperatives, their expertise is a valuable tool to assist with your bookkeeping, federal and state taxes, and auditing needs.

Elaine Hanks established her Austin based firm in 2002 and now brings their services to Blanco and the surrounding areas. Kayla Wallace joined her team in October 2011 to form the Hanks, Wallace & Associates, LLP partnership. Ms. Hanks is a 1992 graduate of Tarleton State University where she obtained her BBA in Accounting. Ms. Wallace is a 1994 graduate of East Texas State University where she obtained her BBA in Accounting. Both partners are licensed certified public accountants in the State of Texas.

Hank, Wallace & Associates takes over the accounting firm from Mildred S. Jones, CPA. A retirement celebration was held after the ribbon cutting.
