Members of the San Antonio Jaguar Club gathered in Blanco on Saturday for the twenty-third annual Rallye to Luckenbach. Jaguars of all eras were parked around the Courthouse Square, where the club’s first rally of the year began at noon.

“The rally covered a meandering route, taking 3 hours and covering 100 very scenic miles,” said event coordinator and club president Brian Blackwell. ”There was not a single stop light on the entire route.  It went from Blanco to Stonewall, then to Kendalia, Waring, and ending at Luckenbach.”

Blanco was last used for the rally’s start in 2007.

17 cars registered for the rally, Blackwell reported. “There was a tie for first place.  The winners were Bob and Judy Koop, tying with Tom Stuhldreher and Jon Weinkauf, with a total deviation from ideal time of 38 seconds over the four stages.”
