The girls’ middle school teams played Ingram on January 19. The seventh grade team lost a close one with a final score of 17-18. Victoria Moya and Andrea Calzoncit each scored 4 points. Other scorers included Shayna Srackangast, Kaitlinn Calzoncit, Montana Wiseman, and Hannah Hulbert. The eighth grade team lost 4-20. Charity Windham sank the points for Blanco.

The girls then played Comfort on January 19. The seventh grade B team lost 6-10. Points were scored by Shelby Jester and Yvette Betancourt. The seventh grade A team won their game, 22-18. Victoria Moya led the team with 10 points, followed by Alexis Requenes with 6. Points were also scored by Andrea Calzoncit, Denise Edwards and Gracie Edmondson. The eighth graders lost 2-18. Helen Kasberg sank the lone basket for the Panthers.

The middle school boys also played Ingram on January 19. The seventh grade team lost 7-42. Points were scored by Kailen Webster, Jonathan Campbell, and Hayden Hunt. The eighth graders won, 32-17. Trent Dechert led the team with 11 points, followed by Jordan Wagner with 10 and Hugo Rodriguez with 7. James Rodriguez and Eddie Torres each had 2 points.

The boys played Comfort on January 23. The seventh grade A team lost 10-40 and the B team won 15-10. High scorer was Jake Mangold from the B team. Other scorers included Kris Enriguez, Jacob Robinson, Kailen Webster, Noah Wheeler, and Garrett Seales. The eighth grade A team won 26-21. Trent Dechert shot for 13 points, while Hugo Rodriguez had 8. Points were also scored by Eddie Torres and Jordan Wagner. The eighth grade B team lost 10-25. Points for Blanco were scored by Trent Pruitt, Kyle Arnold, and Zac Hogan.
