Mr. Richard Barrientes of Johnson City, Texas, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2012, at Southwest Texas Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 38. Ricardo was born December 9, 1973, in Fredericksburg, Texas, to Lawrence Barrientes and Claudia Irma Rodriguez Barrientes. He married Holly Streeter on June 18, 1998, in Fredericksburg, Texas.

Richard is survived by his wife, Holly Streeter Barrientes of Johnson City; one daughter and three sons, Katelyn, Luke, Gabriel and Tobias Barrientes; his father and mother, Lawrence and Irma Barrientes of Johnson City; two sisters, one brother and spouses, Anna and Sig Lujan of Round Rock, Lawrence Jr. and Tina Barrientes of Johnson City, and Lisa Barrientes of Round Rock; and father and mother-in-law, Robert and Judy Streeter of Grand Island, Nebraska.

Memorial services for Richard were held on Saturday, February 4, 2012, at 5:00pm in the chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home in Fredericksburg, with Deacon Rodger Rosenbaum officiating. The family also greeted friends Saturday afternoon, February 4, from 4 to 5:00pm in the chapel of the Schaetter Funeral Home in Fredericksburg.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests the memorial donations be made to his family for medical expenses.
