Blanco National Bank would like to announce Dr. David Behrends as their newest member to the Board of Directors. He will be joining as an Advisory Director this month.

David was born in Fredericksburg, Texas, on September 11, 1954, and grew up in Stonewall. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1979 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. He has been a part of the Blanco community for thirty-one years as owner and doctor of Blanco Veterinary Clinic. David is married to Beverly and is the father of David Jr., who is a tool pusher in the oil field, and Christina, who is currently attending veterinary school at Texas A&M University.

Dr. Behrends is a member of the First Baptist Church of Blanco, serves on the Blanco County Tax Appraisal Board, and he is also a member of the Blanco Rodeo Association. Dr. Behrends said, “I feel like it’s a public service. We can try to help the community and make Blanco a better place.”
