All public school employees of Blanco County who may be contemplating retirement in the near future are invited to attend a retirement education seminar. This year’s seminar will be sponsored by the Blanco County Association of Retired Educators as well as the associations in several surrounding counties.

Essential information regarding retirement will be presented by a Teacher Retirement System (TRS) retirement counselor. The presentation will provide the answers to your questions concerning retirement from any Texas public school or university as well as answers to social security issues.

The seminar will take place at Owen Goodnight Middle School in San Marcos on March 3 from 8:00am to 1:30pm. Refreshments and lunch will be provided. Please make your reservation by Feb. 25.
