Blanco Police Reports
These reports were filed between Dec 5 and Dec 8.
Dec 6
• Reckless Drivers. 9:58 PM. Two vehicles were seen driving recklessly on US 281, heading north. Both of the vehicles stopped at Blanco General.
• Traffic Accident. 11:32 PM. A caller stated that he had hit a deer on US 281, north of Blanco, and that everyone was OK. A blue form was issued for the minor accident.
Dec 7
• Noise Complaint. 1:20 AM. A vehicle with a loud exhaust was repeatedly driving around the caller’s block since 9PM. An officer found one vehicle on the block, which appeared to the parked and empty.
• Noise Complaint. 3:02 AM. Loud music was reported on Mesquite St. An officer advised them to turn it down.
• Theft Report. 1:58 PM. A caller on 4th Street reported theft of items from his home.
Dec 8
• Criminal Mischief. 7:37 AM. A complainant reported trash dumped at the car wash on Main St.
• Burglar Alarm. 11:09 AM. Main St.
• Reckless Driving. 8:29 PM. Four or five vehicles were driving recklessly in the Super S parking lot. An officer warned the subjects.
Dec 9
• Lost Property. 4:14 PM. A caller reported a prescription that was lost.
• Alarm. 7:15 PM. Express Care (with Blanco Co. SO).
Dec 10
• Unattended Death. 3:56 AM. EMS reported an unattended death. Justice of the Peace Riley and Crofts Funeral Home were notified.
• Reckless Driver. 5:17 PM. US 281, heading into Blanco.
Dec 8
• Minor Traffic Accident. 11:11 PM. A caller had hit a deer on 473 West, bending the vehicle’s fender. The caller requested to meet with an officer at Blanco General to get a blue form.
Johnson City Police Reports
These reports were filed between Dec 5 and Dec 8.
Dec 5
• Traffic Control / Motorist Assist. 3:00 AM. An 18-wheeler broke down on the side of US 281, north of the Y. A wrecker was on its way and an officer was needed to help direct traffic. The trailer was dragged to the shoulder to wait for another wrecker and another truck.
Dec 6
• Harassment. 5:49 AM. An individual told the caller that he, the caller, was still being harassed by another subject.
• Escort. 9:59 AM. A caller on US 290 West requested an escort to the city limits.
• Theft. 11:33 AM. Meat was reported stolen off the BBQ pit at Kenny BBQ.
Dec 7
• Death Notice. 7:23 AM. A caller reported an individual’s natural death. The Justice of the Peace was notified.
• Reckless Driving. 1:43 PM. Juveniles were racing 4-wheelers around the neighborhood. An officer reported that the juveniles had stopped.
Dec 8
• Alarm. 5:08 PM. A hold-up alarm was accidentally triggered (with Blanco Co. SO).
Dec 9
• Assault by Threat. 9:04 AM. An officer collected statements from individuals at Speedy Stop after a subject allegedly assaulted a complainant.
• Intoxicated Person. 10:50 AM. A caller reported an intoxicated employee who would not leave the property. The employee was released to a subject who took him to his home.
• Welfare Check. 11:07 AM. A caller requesting a welfare check was advised to notify Adult Protective Services.
• Information. 2:19 PM. A citation for possession of tobacco was issued to a subject at the high school, and the county was informed of a narcotics investigation.
• Welfare Check. 11:38 PM. A caller couldn’t get her mother on the phone and requested an officer drive by the residence and check on her. Everything was OK.
Dec 10
• Lost Property Report. 3:03 PM. A caller requested to speak with an officer, who took a report.
Blanco County Sheriff’s Office Reports
These reports were filed between Dec 5 and Dec 8.
Dec 5
• Welfare Check. 1:15 AM. A caller stated that a family member had left a message about the passing of another member of the family. The caller was unable to call back as the phone number was blocked, and requested a welfare check. Dispatch informed the caller that the family member did pass away (with Blanco PD).
Dec 6
• Livestock Complaint. 10:49 AM. A goat showed up on the caller’s property off CR 214. It was very tame and the caller was holding onto it until the owner was found.
• Traffic Accident. 3:30 PM. An RV on US 281 was struck from behind by an SUV. The caller stated that there were no injuries; EMS was sent to verify. The call was transferred to Comal County.
• Suspicious Persons. 10:33 PM. A group of suspicious people were on a property near the caller’s. The responding officer reported that the owner of the property was there.
Dec 7
• Death Notice. 7:12 AM. A caller reported an individual who had passed away.
• Mutual Aide. 3:36 PM. Officers assisted with a structure fire on RR165. Johnson City Volunteer Fire Department and Spring Branch were also requested (with Blanco PD).
• Suspicious Circumstances. 11:36 PM. A caller heard a dog growl and requested an officer. The officer reported that everything was OK.
Dec 8
• Motorist Assist. 6:40 AM. A vehicle was on the shoulder of US 281, just before Round Mountain. The driver was changing the tire.
• Theft. 8:08 AM. An officer filed a report on theft of diesel.
• Agency Assist. 10:16 AM. A Round Mountain firefighter checked on a subject on CR 301.
• Juvenile Complaint. 11:35 AM. Three juvenile females were seen walking south on US 281, into Blanco. An officer reported that the juveniles were with their mother.
• Road Hazard. 1:33 PM. A caller reported boards with nails in them along the shoulder on US 281 after one of her tires was blown.
• Loose Livestock. 1:44 PM. RR3232 at Flat Creek.
• Civil. 2:15 PM. A caller wanted to file a complaint over child custody. The caller was advised to talk to his attorney.
• Missing Juvenile / Welfare Check. 7:22 PM. A caller stated that a child was missing for more than an hour and a half. An officer responded and the child was located.
• Shots Fired. 10:10 PM. A caller heard shots fired distantly after he heard arguing. An officer checked the area and did not find anything.
Dec 9
• Possible Traffic Accident / Abandoned Vehicle. 7:11 AM. A caller reported a small pickup just off RR1323, sitting near the gravel pit with all four tires flat and no license plates. Officers reported that the vehicle was unoccupied and appeared to have been dumped. A wrecker was requested to pick up the vehicle before dark as it was a road hazard.
• Prisoner Transfer. 7:43 AM.
• Traffic Accident. 8:27 AM. A pickup with an empty gooseneck trailer jackknifed on RR 32, just east of RR 405. Debris was in the roadway and the driver had minor cuts.
• Criminal Mischief. 8:43 AM. A complainant in Stallion Estates stated that her trash can was run over and damaged. A report was filed and IESI brought a new trash can.
• 911 Call. 10:59 AM. Officers responded to a residence after 911 received a call. An officer reported that everything was OK and the call was possibly a phone problem.
• Livestock Complaint. 1:28 PM. Eight to ten miniature donkeys were out next to US 281 at 473 East. An officer put up all the animals.
• Dog Bite. 5:28 PM. A caller stated that her son was bitten by a neighbor’s dog and requested to speak with an officer over the phone.
• Traffic Accident. 5:50 PM. A two vehicle accident, with injuries, was reported on US 281 at Loop 163 (with Texas DPS).
• Motorist Assist. 9:27 PM. A caller stated that he was stranded on the side of US 290 West, by Tow Head Creek. The vehicle was towed.
Dec 10
• 911 Call. 2:57 AM. 911 received a staticky call; the operator confirmed that no one was on the line. The call was weather-related.
• Information. 9:53 AM. CPS was notified about reported child abandonment.
• Traffic Hazard. 1:34 PM. A small car was on the side of RR32, only about two feet off the roadway. The caller was worried the car would become dangerous after dark. An officer advised that the car was being moved.
• Alarm. 3:30 PM. Residential.
• Suspicious Vehicle. 5:42 PM. A black car was reportedly parked for over an hour on the roadway on Miller Creek Loop. An officer spoke with and then released two subjects.
• Civil Standby. 8:58 PM. A caller requested a civil standby while a subject picked up a child. The subject was allegedly making threats.

Dec 6
• Traffic Accident. 1:32 AM. Officers responded to a report of a traffic accident on CR 201, just past the Klepac Greenhouse. One subject was arrested (with Blanco PD).
• Traffic Accident. 5:13 PM. A caller reported a vehicle that had rolled over into a ditch on Miller Creek Cemetery Rd (with Blanco Co. SO).

• Arrest on View. 1:22 PM. One subject was arrested on RR32.
Dec 9
• Rollover Accident. 7:02 AM. A vehicle rolled over on its side on RR 32 at Oak Crest Dr (with Blanco Co. SO).
