Presley D. Wright Jr. of Blanco, Texas died Sunday, January 4th at North Central Baptist Hospital in San Antonio.

Presley was a husband, father, grandfather, and a friend to all who met him. A 20 year veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars, he volunteered for the Good Samaritan Center in Blanco and the Medical Supply Program at the All Faith Chapel. He was also an active member of AA.

He is preceded in death by his sons, Douglas Wright and Johnny Neil.

Survivors are his wife, Peggy Wright; two sisters, Virgie Longway and Joyce Franklin; five kids - Ray Neil, Deborah Flowers, Tina Wright, Cozette Hamilton and Michael Wright; and daughter-in-law, Betty Joe Clark. He had 14 grand kids and 8 great grand kids.

Services will be held Saturday, January 10th at 2:00pm at the Methodist Church, 63 Pecan Street in Blanco.
