Buna was born August 30, 1923, the youngest of five children born to Mercer and Addie Wolf. She was preceded in death by two husbands, George Burnett and Lloyd McKinnon, her parents, and brothers, Adolph, Kenneth and Jay Wolf, and her sister, Ima Wolf Lengefeld. She is survived by her son, Keith Burnett and his wife, Ruth, and their children, Megan and Tanner. There are also numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a longtime member of San Antonio’s Parkhills Baptist Church where she served as a Greeter for twenty years.

Visitation was held at Crofts Funeral Home in Johnson City from 5:00 to 7:00pm Thursday, January 1. A graveside service was held at 2:00pm on Friday, January 2 at the Masonic Cemetery, Johnson City, TX with Timothy Pope officiating.
