Middle School Panthers Take on Fredericksburg

The Blanco Middle School Panthers took on Fredericksburg on Thursday, October 4.

The seventh grade team played a tough game but came up a little short at the end with a final score Blanco 14, Fredericksburg 16.

Scoring for the Panthers was Sam Isenberg and Jesse Ruiz, each had one touchdown and Tim Goodman who had a two point conversion.

Will Bylar had an interception.

The eighth grade played a great defensive as well as offensive game as they pulled out into the lead and took the victory with a final score 16-6.

Filiberto Navarro scored both touchdowns for the Panthers and Elpido Chalico ran in the two point conversions.

Quade Mayfield had a fumble recovery.

The Panthers will start their district play against the Comfort Bobcats on Thursday, October 11 when the Panthers take to the road. Game times are scheduled for 5:00 and 6:30.
