Leslie Yett

Leslie Yett, 92, of Blanco, formerly of Marble Falls, died February 19, 2012, at North Austin Medical Center in Austin. Born November 17, 1919, in Marble Falls, he was the son of Marion and Ora (Shelby) Yett.

Leslie served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked as a stone polisher at Texas Granite for 31 years and then worked at Blanco National Bank for 20 years. He was a member of St. Fredericks Baptist Church in Marble Falls and Mt. Horeb Baptist Church in Blanco.

Survivors include his wife, Isadora Yett of Blanco, and his sister, Sylvia Hall of Marble Falls. He is also survived by other relatives and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Carrie, brothers Eugene, Bryant, Roy, Joe, and Rufus, and his son Lester.

Visitation will be Friday, February 24, 2012, from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday, February 25, 2012, at 1:00pm at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Dukes and Rev. George Perry officiating. Interment will follow at Marble Falls City Cemetery.
