Laissez les bons temps roulez (that is Mardi Gras speak for "a good time was had by all")!

There's not a whole lot of cheerful news this week, except for the rain and the lovely couple days last week as well as my husband's 58th birthday! As long as he doesn't shave off his mustache, he will continue to look a little older than I am - if he takes a notion to remove it, I am done for.

Thoughts and prayers go out to Doug Lawrence in the loss of his mom. He had a hard row to hoe and he did a really good job. Hugs, Doug. To the families of our lovely library lady, Jerry Copeland, our good sheriff, Bill Elsbury, and a wonderful guy with a great voice, an infectious laugh, and a great hug, Glen McFarlin. We are all going to be less for not having these people in our community any more.

Congratulations certainly go out to Bill and Lois Wood on the occasion of their marriage!
