Most of you know me. I was probably your old mailman for years until I retired back in July of 2006. My name is Chuck Homan. I tried, for all of the thirty three years I delivered mail, to give my customers the best service I could. One thing I could not do was get mail delivery to all the people on my route that wanted to get mail delivered on the street.

I just recently learned that two areas that I tried repeatedly to get service to just recently were given service during the postmaster’s absence. I would like to personally thank the three individuals for continuing and completing my efforts to provide mail service off the highway at Rolling Hills and on Hackberry Street.

My thanks to you! To Fina Morales of the Main Post Office in Austin, Terrence Malone of the Manchaca Post Office and Don McGeever of the Main Post Office in San Antonio. You three are to be commended for getting the right thing done, even in the face of adversity.
