The directors are still seeking brands used on ranches in Blanco County. Please give us a brief description or drawing of the brand with an explanation of how the brand was developed. For instance, my grandfather’s brand was a J with an L for John Lawhon, JL. He would cut a v-notch in the ears of his horses, goats, and sheep. We will be displaying these brands on the wall of the museum during our western exhibit, so please assist us representing your family brand. Contact Linda at 830-833-4971 or email mislinda118@verizon.net.

Just a reminder, Nell is still taking items for the yard sale, which is March 3. You can call Nell at 830-833-5774 for pickup or delivery of your items.

Time is getting short for the current WWII exhibit, so if you wish to visit, please come soon!
