Project Graduation Serves Up Pancakes
Wednesday, February 29, 2012 • Posted March 1, 2012

Blanco Project Graduation appreciates the community’s support during the Pancake Supper last week. The Tuesday Night Supper Club at the Blanco United Methodist Church made a generous donation and the Blanco Lions Club sponsored the event at Trinity Lutheran Church. Approximately 100 people were served pancakes with the help of the Lions Club, several Project Graduation parents, and about thirteen seniors. The seniors served during rotating shifts, bussed tables, and just helped as needed.

Project Graduation is a substance-free lock-in for graduates on graduation night. Community endorsement enables them to have a safe and fun activity after graduation, and an opportunity to gather one last time as a class.

Be sure to check the community calendar for more upcoming Project Graduation events.
