The 13th annual KBB "Don't Mess with Texas" Trash-off, citywide cleanup, and the 6th annual Blanco River Cleanup is April 14 at 9 a.m. We will meet at Bindseil Park with your team leaders to pick up your t-shirts. Please get your list together this week and send me the list with names, shirt sizes, and team leaders names by March 15. If you are an individual who needs to team up with someone, please call Retta Martin at 830-833-4720 with the information. It is getting close and we do not want to leave any volunteers out.

In 2011, the city held the citywide cleanup with the county cleanup by delivering your discarded items to the IESI station. We discovered that this was not best for our Blanco citizens so this year we are returning to our citywide cleanup. If you would like to sign up to drive your pickup around with a trailer to help curbside pickups, call Retta Martin at 830-833-4720 and get on the list with your volunteers. There will be more information about these plans next week.

Don't forget that there will be hotdogs with drinks and chips afterwards at Bindseil Park.
