Wednesday, March 14, 2012 • Posted March 15, 2012

Pecan Street Brewing and Classic Chassis Car Club Austin LCCI have teamed up to host a Friday Night Cruise-In Johnson City each month.

Owners and Car Clubs are invited to drive their classic, collector, antique or hotrod, car or truck to Pecan Street Brewing on the 3rd Friday of each month, from 6pm to 9pm. Pecan Street Brewing is located one block off Hwy 290/Main Street in Johnson City, across the street from the Historic Blanco County Courthouse.

Pecan Street Brewing is a brew pub and restaurant, specializing in hand crafted beers, brick oven pizzas and great burgers. A beer garden and game room are in the plans (early stage right now) with live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Classic Chassis Car Club Austin LCCI is a local chapter of an international car club with over 2,000 members worldwide, four regions in Texas, and accepts members regardless of the make, condition or age of their vehicle.

Area businesses are sponsoring door prizes which will be distributed among drivers of classic, collector, antique or hotrod, cars or trucks, who arrive by 7pm. The event is sponsored by Chantilly Lace B&B, Copper Roof Art Studio, Pecan Street Brewing, Phillips Insurance Agency / Germania Insurance, Rice Construction Company, Silver K Café, Taste Wine+Art, and Rick Payton-Turnquist Partners Realty. This cruise-in is open to the public. For more information, visit
