Every week we get a little closer to our Friends’ Dinner and a Movie on April 20. Get your tickets from the library or On the Square. Sibby Barret of Onion Creek Kitchens is catering our southern style dinner with fried chicken, collard greens, chocolate pie, and more. Remember, this is a social and BYOB event at the Old Blanco County Courthouse at 6p.m. We will be showing the movie The Help at the library after dinner around 8.

Attention kids! On April 4 at 4 p.m. we will have Skyking’s Bird show. This is a falconry show where you will see everything and learn about wonderful birds. Kids of all ages are welcome, even those at heart. Come see these birds fly their stuff!

The final date to turn in your income tax forms is less than a month away. We still have a couple of appointments open on Saturday, March 24, and April 7. Call today to make an appointment.
