Blanco State Park Needs You
Wednesday, March 21, 2012 • Posted March 22, 2012

Come have some fun, get out in the fresh air and maybe even get a little exercise. Blanco State Park needs volunteers for the upcoming busy summer season. There are lots of things to do from greeting visitors, to monitoring bluebird boxes to just clearing trash. There is a job that is right for you. You can do a little or do a lot. Sign up for a regular schedule or be available for special projects. It’s all up to you. Park rangers will be providing training so you will be comfortable with your duties. Training sessions will be starting soon to give you lots of time before the summer rush.

If you are interested, please contact Connie Barron at goddessfit@aol.com or Mary Alice Partain, the park’s interpretive ranger at maryalice.partain@tpwd.state.tx.us. Come on out—have some fun and help Blanco State Park at the same time.
