Storms Bring More Rain

Central Texas was smacked with storms on Monday night, March 20. With tornado warnings popping up all over the area, the majority of the storms passed around Blanco early in the evening.

Into Tuesday, another wave of storms brought rain, lightning, and thunder.

Rainfall totals around Blanco, according to CoCoRaHs, ranged from 2.05” to 2.22”. Up in Johnson City, some received 2.84”, 3.49”, and 3.76”.

On Tuesday morning, the Blanco County Sheriff’s Office reported that FM 962 at Cypress Creek, near Round Mountain, was the only known road closure in the county.
