She will do a mixed-media, staining technique, including watercolor. Jameson has a B.A. in Art and Education from University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, Washington, and M.A. from the University of Hawaii. She has taught and worked in watercolor, oils, and drawing for more than 30 years. Samples of her work can be seen on her website at www.geocities.com/bettyjameson/gallery.htm.

The Highland Arts Gallery is the venue for the artistic works of approximately 75 member artists who reside in Burnet, Blanco, Lampasas or Llano counties. It is a "co-op " gallery. The artists who display also work at the gallery, assisting customers. They staff the childrens' art classes held in June each year. Adult classes are offered year-round. They sponsor the monthly "demos" featuring talented visiting artists from around the state. Visitors are always welcome, at no charge, to the demo. A light lunch will be served afterwards. Call 830-693-7324 or 830-693-5883 for more information. The gallery is located at 318 Main, in Marble Falls.
