The 2012 baseball season is well under way. The varsity team has a record of 10-4. District began Tuesday, March 20, at Ingram.

Sam Isenberg is leading the way with a 524 average. Wes Copenhaver leads the team with 22 runs and two home runs. Kyle Gray leads the team with 17 hits, two triples, and 16 runs batted in. James Leachman has three wins and Kyle Gray, Pete Chalico, and Chad Marshall all have two wins.

The Panthers took on San Antonio Christian last Saturday and defeated them 4-3. James Leachman went the distance on the mound, going seven strong innings, striking out four and scattering two hits to improve his record to 3-1 on the year. Ian Ray and Layne Lassberg led the way offensively with two hits each. Colton Childress and Skylar Itz each had a hit.
