FFA Radio Broadcast Team places at State - School - Blanco County News

Blanco FFA members Daniel Romero, Brooks Wyatt, and Victoria Jones recently competed at the State FFA Leadership Development Events hosted by Sam Houston State University

The Blanco FFA Radio Broadcasting Team of Victoria Jones, Daniel Romero, and Brooks Wyatt traveled to Huntsville to compete in the State FFA Leadership Development Events, hosted by Sam Houston State University on December 5th and 6th.

After two preliminary heats, Blanco’s team finished in the top 20, out of 597 teams from across the state. Of the twelve events at this year’s contest, the radio broadcasting event proved to be one of the largest and most competitive.

Advisors for the Blanco FFA are Felice and Jason Marek.
