Girls Do Well at Texan Relays

The varsity girls were the only 2A school participating in the March 22 track meet at Wimberley. They competed against 3A, 4A, and 5A schools, placing 4th overall. The girls took 1st place in the 200m relay, 4th in the 100m relay, and 3rd in the 400m relay. Individual results are as follows:

Monica Flores came in 3rd place in the 100m run. Leslie McClinton took 1st in shot put, 3rd in the 200m, and 6th in the high jump. Abbie Culton placed 5th in the 200m, 5th in long jump, and 6th in the triple jump. Abby Beard was 4th in the 800m run and took 6th in high jump. Meaghen Seales placed 5th in the 800m, 3rd in the 1600m, and 6th in the high jump. Alex LeBlanc place 5th in the 3200m. Paxston Koehl took 4th place in the 100m hurdles and 6th place in the 300m hurdles. Justine Cooley placed 4th in long jump, while Kelsey Schwind took 5th in shot put, and Abbey Weaver took 4th in pole vault.

The boys also competed in Wimberley. Turaj Benford got 4th in the 110, Alex Palos got 6th in the 100, and Byrun Mabry took 4th in shot put.
