Panthers Rack Up Two More Wins

The Panther softball team traveled to Ingram on Tuesday, March 20, and defeated the Warriors 28-3. The Panthers scored 26 runs in the second inning.

Callie Culton pitched two innings with four strike-outs, no hits, and no runs earned. Meaghen Seales pitched the third inning, adding another strike-out for Blanco.

Callie Culton, Abbie Culton, and Angel Williams all batted 1000. Callie had three hits, four runs, and five RBI. Payton Savarino hit six RBI. Angel and Meaghen also scored four runs each. The Ingram pitchers tossed twelve walks to the Blanco batters.

On Friday, March 23, the Harper Lady Horns came to the Blanco softball field and were handed a 1-15 loss by the Panthers. Meaghen pitched the first four innings, tossing two strike-outs with two hits and one earned run. Callie pitched the fifth inning with two strike-outs. Meaghen went 2 for 2 with two singles, three runs, and two RBI. Leslie McClinton also scored three runs. Kelsey Schwind knocked in five RBI. Jamie McClinton, Callie, Abbie, and Payton each added a single.

The Panthers now hold a 16-1 season record with a 2-1 district standing. The next district game is scheduled at Comfort this Friday, March 30.
