Elsie I. White, a resident of Canyon Lake, passed away early Monday morning, April 9, 2012, at Rio Terra Assisted Living in New Braunfels at the age of 87. Elsie was born on November 6, 1924, in Corpus Christi to Jesse Johnson and Louie Effie Duncan Johnson.

During Elsie's professional career, which spanned some 22 years, she was vice president of White, Inc., located in Houston.

Survivors include her loving husband, Howard F. White; children, Michael F. White, Terri L. White, Jack D. White, and Suzanne Price; 10 grandchildren; and two brothers, Kenard and Wayne Johnson.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at Canyon Lake Presbyterian Church, 230 Shepherd Hill Dr., Canyon Lake 78133. Memorial donations may be given to Hope Hospice, Alzheimer's Association, or to the charity of one's choice.
