Local Practitioner Joins Others to Raise Funds for Alternative Health Research
Wednesday, April 25, 2012 • Posted April 26, 2012

Kenneth Schramm D.C., a chiropractor in Blanco, is joining fellow practitioners of complementary medicine from around the world in donating their net proceeds earned on May 1, 2012 to benefit The ONE Research Foundation (ONE). The Foundation raises funds for alternative health research validating the BioPsychoSocial Model (BPS) and Neuro Emotional Technique (NET).

BPS and NET are safe, gentle and effective interventions used to normalize physical and emotional balances, and provide a framework for dealing with cases where the patient feels unwell yet laboratory findings don’t indicate disease or abnormal health. BPS/NET have been proven to be of benefit in treating chronic pain, allergies, headaches and a variety of nervous system issues such as insomnia, phobias and anger. BPS/NET practitioners believe the techniques reduce the frequency of clinic visits, hospitalizations and use of pharmacological agents among their patients.

The ONE Research Foundation is a nonprofit organization, with the mission of raising funds to advance scientifically based BPS and NET research. Since its inception in 1993, ONE has published 25 studies in peer-reviewed journals. Through the support of practitioners like Dr. Schramm, ONE will continue to fund innovative and influential clinical studies demonstrating the health and healing benefits of BPS/NET.
