FFA Entomology Team Wins Contest - School - Blanco County News

Blanco FFA Entomology Team

The Blanco FFA Entomology Team consisting of Erica Flores, Megan Wier, Rance Dollahite, Deanna Sevilla and Monica Flores placed 1st overall as a team at the Fredericksburg FFA Invitational Entomology CDE this past week. Individually, Blanco also claimed the top five places, with Rance placing 1st, Megan 2nd, Erica 3rd, Monica 4th, and Deanna 5th.

The team’s next competition will be the Area VII CDEs at Texas A&M University on Saturday, April 14. The top five teams from the area will advance to the state event in Lubbock at Texas Tech University on Saturday, April 21.
