Uptown Blanco Art Center Presents Summer Art Classes
Wednesday, May 9, 2012 • Posted May 10, 2012

Edward Povey, master painter who draws inspiration from the classic masters, will be teaching a series of workshops at the Uptown Blanco Art Center. His workshops are available for beginners to experts vary in topics including composition, brushwork, drawing, painting, and glazing. The seminar taught by the artist on May 3 has already received praise and attendees and honoree alike have become so enthralled and focused that the classes have gone past the time allotted. Although the techniques Mr. Povey implements have been known for centuries, they have become somewhat of a lost art form. Do not miss the once in a lifetime opportunity to learn from the master himself Saturday June 16 10am-6pm, and June 21-23 10am-6pm.
