Edgar “Slim” Koch Jr., age 78 of Hempstead, passed away on May 18, 2012. He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Koch; daughter, Doris McMillian; and son-in-law, Joe Orsak; and is survived by sons, Leroy William Koch and wife Rhonda, Edgar William “Billy” Koch III and wife Sandra, and Michael Carl Koch; daughters, Joyce Orsak, Rosa Cevallos and husband Andy, Frieda Polasek and husband Sam, Peggy Hamilton and husband Eddie, and Leatha Kopech and husband Sonny; son-in-law Coley McMillian; 25 grandchildren; and 42 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, May 21, 2012 from 5 to 8pm at Canon Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 10am at Canon Funeral Home with Pastor Brad Qualls officiating. Interment will follow at Hempstead Cemetery. [Video Tribute & Guest Book @ www.canonfuneralhome.com]
