Blanco Cowboy Church Youth Ride for Jesus
Wednesday, May 23, 2012 • Posted May 24, 2012

Following morning worship services with Evangelist Clifton Jansky and a delicious lunch, the young cowgirls and cowboys mounted up and rode into the church arena for group prayer and their Youth Play Day. The 5 age groups participated in four arena events in their first Buckle Series Play Day. The next two events of the buckle series are scheduled for June 3 and July 1.

Awards were spread out under the oak trees where the youth selected their prizes beginning with first place through fifth place winners for each event. A special MVP award for outstanding sportsmanship was presented to Alley Penshorn by Rodeo's Special Bull Fighter Howard Stevenson. Before the horses were loaded the group gathered for prayer thanking God for His Favor of safety for the horses and youth, for the outstanding leaders who gave their time and talents for the youth, for the parents who brought and supported their children, and especially for the young cowgirls and cowboys who came and rode for Jesus.

Matthew 19:14..."But Jesus said, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them, for of such is the kingdom of heaven."
