Well, Lavender Festival is over for another year. It is fun to see all the people, but I always hear complaints about parking and the heat. Wish the lavender bloomed in the winter!
Ada Cooley had a surprise visit from her grandson Kevin and his family, who live in Arkansas. They brought with them their new baby!
A shout-out is due to my friend, Mr. Phil Evett, who took a tumble. He righted himself, but sustained a bump or two in the process. I hear he is on the mend. However, another friend, Darlene Kiernan, took a tumble as well, but her injuries were quite a bit more serious. Hope to see both of you out and about in the not too distant future.
Be rounding up your Western memorabilia for the Pioneer Museum's new exhibit. It's going to be a corker!
June 22 "Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Killer" comes to theaters everywhere! Look for our own teamster, Dennis Moore; he's in it somewhere.
And last but not least, Leon Coffee is home recuperating from his illness. Sure glad to hear he's working on getting better!
