Randolph "Randy" Stephen Cox

Randolph "Randy" Stephen Cox passed away June 20, 2012 at the age of 54. Randy was born December 6, 1957 in New Braunfels, Texas to Howard Newton Cox and Dolores Dittrich Cox. He was the second of six children and graduated from Blanco High School in 1976.

Some of Randy's many joys in life were collecting arrowheads, hunting, and gardening. He also dearly loved his dogs, cat, chickens, turkeys, and squirrel. And last but not least Randy cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren.

He is survived by both parents and his girlfriend O'Reta Jane Sanders. He is also survived by his two daughters, Leticia Rachelle Rambo and her husband Phil; and Laura Ashley Owens and her husband Brian, plus Ashley and Leticia's mother Debra Price. He has one granddaughter Jaden Rambo and two grandsons Eli Rambo and Greyson Owens. Randy is also survived by his two brothers; Howard Sidney Cox and wife Connie; Andrew Tillman Cox and wife Holli. He is survived by three sisters, Lynda Kay Baumgartner and husband Llano; Lydia Sue Bledsoe and husband Doug; and his baby sister Allison Janyne Klein and husband Toben. He had seven nieces, eight nephews, two great nieces, six great nephews, and a very large extended family and many very close friends.

Randy was laid to rest in Cox Cemetery in Blanco, Texas on Tuesday, June 26, 2012. He will be greatly missed.
