Runoff Election Voting Information

The Primary Run-Off will take place on July 31st. Registered voters who voted in the Primary can vote in the same Party Run-Off election. If a registered voter did not vote in the Primary they may vote in either party’s Run-Off election.

Eligible Texans who are not registered to vote must register by July 2, 2012 to vote in the July 31st Run-Off election.

Ballots by Mail

You can apply for a ballot by mail if you are age 65 or older starting June 1, 2012 through July 24, 2012. Applications for ballots by mail must be received in this time frame, not postmarked. You can also call the County Clerk’s office at 830-868-7357 for more information.

The runoff election is Tuesday, July 31, 2012.

Early voting in person for all precincts is Monday, July 23 2012 through Friday July 27, 2012 at the County Clerk Conference Room, 101 E.Cypress St., Johnson City, TX from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. There is no weekend early voting for the runoff election so make time during the week!

Election Day is July 31, 2012.

Precincts 201, 302, 303, 304 vote at the Courthouse Annex, 101 E. Cypress St., Johnson City, TX in the Clerk’s Conference Room, from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. There is no polling location at PEC. Precincts 102 & 401 vote at the Old Blanco County Courthouse, 300 Main St., Blanco, TX, from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. There is no polling location at Masonic Hall.

In Blanco County there are over 7000 registered voters. In the Primary in May only 2,127 votes were cast.
