Teens! Do not forget that this Thursday we will be showing the “Bleach” anime at the library! Join us at 5:30p.m. for the movie and refreshments. During the month of July, Mondays and Wednesdays, 4-5:30p.m., our Technology for All computer instructor will be teaching Excel classes. This is a total of 9 consecutive classes that will give you the knowledge of Excel that you need. At the end of the 9 classes, you will earn a certificate that you can refer to on your resume! Space is limited so call or come in today to sign up to start your training July 2nd!

Special reminder: We will be closed July 4th for Independence Day and July 5th for maintenance. No library items will be due on these two days. We hope you have a happy and safe holiday.

The “Get a Clue” summer reading program is fun for all ages! This is a two part program, one part reading and one part fun activities. We have two levels of reading: kids ages 8 and under will receive prizes for every 5 books read and kids ages 9-18 will receive prizes for every 5 hours read. Our fun activities will be every Friday in June and July starting at 10:30 a.m. and will run for 45 minutes. This Friday’s activity is “Solve the Case” where the kids get clues and figure out the solution. Everyone is a detective!

Also, remember that you can send us pictures of what you think makes Blanco, Blanco for our fundraising calendar until July 1st. Just email them to blancotxlibrary@gmail.com.
