Davis Celebrates Retirement
Wednesday, July 4, 2012 • Posted July 5, 2012

Marylin Davis was recently honored with an early retirement party at the home of Dolores Bevers. Marylin served 25 faithful years in the Blanco school food service department as supervisor over all three campuses and enjoyed her career. She dedicated her life to Blanco Independent School District and feeding the children of local schools.

She was also feted at a retirement luncheon and received flowers, gifts, and many good wishes from teachers, co-workers, and friends. A lovely gift was given to her from her friends at BISD.

Marylin was well thought of and respected by colleagues and friends alike who knew her best for her love, dedication, generosity, and loyalty. At the home of Dolores Bevers on June 28 games were played, snacks and dinner were served, and fun and memories were enjoyed by all.
