Larry D. Fair (Man Called Bear) born December 11, 1943 in Tisue, Ohio passed away on Saturday, June 30 2012 at the age of 68. He is survived by his brother Greg Fair of Norfolk, Virginia and sister Shirley Robinson of Tisue, Ohio. He is also survived by his three children; Michelle Douglas of Ft. Worth, Texas, Chris Fair of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Corey Fair. His grandchildren, Kai and Emma of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.

Larry will best be remembered as a loyal friend and gifted artist whose works of Chief Joseph and the Nez Perce Indians can be found in homes and businesses throughout the United States. Larry opened his first studio gallery in Kerrville, Texas while living at his Quarter horse breeding and training ranch. Larry made Blanco, Texas his home in 1992 and opened Bear Studio gallery on 3rd street.

This passionate, kind, spiritual man’s amazing sense of humor will be missed by many. Those of us who loved him, those of you who knew him, those whose path’s he crossed...the faith of a child can make miracles. Man Called Bear.
